Sorry its been a while!

The last time we updated our blog was in April! And we said then how fast that month had gone and we are almost in to the middle of July!! I swear time is running at super sonic speed these days.

So as the country starts to reopen we have been trying to get out and about a bit more but some things still feel so strange. We went out for a lovely meal a few nights ago and although it was great
to go out to eat it was strange not to be allowed to the bar to re order drinks and the face masks were on and off when we used the loos.
We managed to get away for a week camping in Mid Wales which was very nice especially as the weather was dry the whole time we were away (I know what a miracle eh!)

Gifts in the post had its 6 months Birthday on the 1st of July. We celebrated the day by packing our first corporate order of 22 gift boxes for Admiral Insurance. They asked for a Wimbledon themed gift box to send to some of their staff who are still working from home. We had some real fun creating these :)

We have also had the pleasure of being featured in Top Sante magazine's August edition! They ran a twenty page section on sleep and our "Lilac one" gift box was featured as one of the best 3 sleep gift boxes to buy!
There is nothing like a bit of free advertising: )

And as the last few days of school approaches we have been very busy putting together lots and LOTS of "Thank you teacher gift boxes" They have been mostly from our Create your own range and wow you have come up with some fabulous creations! Those teachers are going to be so pleased with their gifts.

So what are we working on for next month? Well we have had quite a few enquires about keepsakes for special occasions like New Baby or Happy Birthday, so this is something we are looking into buying and adding to the website. And we have already started working on our Christmas Gift Boxes, sorry yes I did say the word CHRISTMAS!! I know were are months and months away yet but we like to be organised here at Gifts in the post :)

So that is about it for this month, stay safe, enjoy any holidays or get togethers you may be having and we will catch up with you all soon.

Lisa & Mark
